Returned to lender
This work of art was on loan to the museum and has since been returned to its lender.
Archaistic bronze design was also popular in fourteenth-century ceramic production. This vase clearly imitates bronze vases with tubular handles of the time. Such celadon objects also found their way to Japan as precious Chinese goods used in upscale interior decoration.
