Candlestick

Dolphin candlesticks were produced in large quantities by the Boston and Sandwich Glass Company during the mid-nineteenth century. This particular style was made in three sizes of which this is the medium size. These candlesticks can be distinguished one from another by the combination of the elements of base, dolphin stem and socket. There is some suggestion in the literature that this specific style of dolphin candlestick may have come from a Midwest factory.
