Tenor valve trombone in B-flat
Although valve trombones, particularly complicated and heavy examples such as this one with six idependent valves, did not achieve lasting popularity, Gautrot considered the instrument commercially attractive enough to produce a copy nearly indistinguishable from Sax’s original.
