Intervention
Beginning his career as an illustrator and designer, Krasiński explored the relationship between the viewer and objects in space. His signature blue tape (always appearing at a height of 130 centimeters above the ground) operates as an optical interruption and unifying element that wraps all things and surfaces in its horizontal path, including works by other artists. In Krasiński’s series, Interventions, the tape passes over an axonometric drawing—a geometric rendering of a three-dimensional object on a two-dimensional surface—in a playful linear gesture that literally and conceptually fuses the artwork and the architectural space of the gallery.
