This work of art is currently on loan to the museum.The artist rendered the veil of this elegant, bejeweled lady as a diaphanous cloth through which her long braided tresses can be seen. She holds a flower as her maid offers a garland of blossoms. In the distance a group of women play music on string and percussion instruments.
