Join us on Tuesday, June 14, for Museum Mile, New York's biggest block party! It's the night when The Met and six other New York City museums along Fifth Avenue stay open late and host a variety of fun, family-friendly activities. Make your way from 82nd Street up to 105th Street to participate in a night of art projects, dazzling performances, and masterpieces after dark.

Check out last year's fun in #MetKids—Museum Mile 2015:

What should #MetKids be sure not to miss at this year's event? Make your mark by adding to the collaborative chalk drawing on The Met's plaza. Inside the Museum, you can make stop-motion animated films at the #MetKids Animation Stations. You can also play with geometric shapes and designs inspired by Sol LeWitt's Wall Drawing #370 at Shape and Space, or discover pop-up performances throughout The Met's galleries by the Dušan Týnek Dance Theatre. And don't leave without getting a #MetKids photobooth keepsake!

The kickoff celebration starts at 5:45 pm at The Met. Check the schedule for a full listing of the evening's events. See you there!
