Moore’s European glass collection encompassed a wide variety of shapes, textures, and colors that would have served to train the designer’s eye. Even the most ordinary forms could provide inspiration. The small pharmacy jar probably served a practical function. Yet a red and white marbled pattern enlivens its opaque white surface.
