Small High-shouldered Jar with Lugs

This small well-preserved high-shouldered jar displays two small, unpierced lugs located at the widest point of the vessel. The style is well-known and the size, hard stone, and unpierced lugs support the assigned date. Early Dynastic artisans are known for choosing patterned hard stones for making such vessels, which were deposited in tombs as a grave goods.
