A procession of paired figures led by Death and the pope moves through the countryside. At upper left is a coat of arms in a cartouche with a dedication. Illustrated a reprint of Lydgate's "The Daunce of Machabree," published at the end of Dugdale's "The History of St. Pauls Cathedral in London" (1658 ed.).
