The full five-print composition (in possession of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, acc. no. 21.7524-8) depicts a single boat with twenty courtesans enjoying themselves on a hot summer day with snacks and a dance performance, for which the women in this print are playing a shamisen and drum accompaniment.
