Trompe-l'oeil design for a ceiling with an oval at center, depicting the mythological scene of Boreas grabbing Oreithyia, set in the clouds. Around the oval are a series of columns and pilasters. At each corner, a sheild or medallion flanked by seated figures and seen from below. From an untitled series of six plates with ceiling designs, five of which show trompe l'oeil paintings with mythological scenes in the central compartment. The last plate has a blank central compartment.
