A group of pets belonging to Queen Victoria are represented, three dogs and a parrot. The dogs are Nero, a greyhound, Hector, a Scottish deerhound, and Dash, a spaniel. The print is based on a painting that Landseer exhibited at the Royal Academy in 1838.
