Plate 49, View of the remains of a pyramidal tomb (previously thought to have belonged the Metella family) along the Appian Way, with groups of livestock gathered in the foreground. Below this plate is an unnumbered image titled "Figure Etrusque trouvée sur une Urne Sepulchrale." These two images appear facing page 83, which contains the section of text describing the tomb.
