Plate 56, Plate with two sacrificial bowls, one larger and one small, shown from above and a detail of a bowl handle. The larger bowl is on the right side of the plate and has two dancing figures viewed in profile- a man with a lion skin and a woman in a dress looking at a mirror which she holds up in her left hand. The smaller bowl is on the left side of the plate and has a woman viewed from behind sitting on a bull standing, holding an arrow to its head. This is the fourth in a series of six views of sacrificial bowls which appears facing the blank verso of page 44. Page 45 has a description of these bowls.
