For more information on the Wilton album see entry for 27.78.1(1-428)
An impression from a worn plate, printed in green-brown ink. The print is related to a drawing by Parmigianino at the Louvre (inv. 6408) depicting the subject in reverse orientation. Popham suggested a drawing at Windsor (no. 0564) as the model for the print, a suggestion rejected by Richardson. For a strong impression, possibly of an earlier state, see The Metropolitan Museum Mariette Album (folio 42)
