Plate with an illustration of a Parisian Costume for a bride, part of the 40th issue of the "Journal des dames et des modes", published on July 1st, 1913. The illustration features a woman wearing a wedding gown with empire waist, long sleeves with ruffles and embroidered pearls, and a narrow, ankle-lenght pleated skirt with ruffles, pearls, and embroidered pearls and stones on the border. She wears white gloves and high heels, and an embroidered veil on her head, featuring a pattern similar to that on her dress, fastened around her neck with a bundle of green, possibly jeweled, leaves, and with two tassels hanging to the sides. Her face is made up with pink blush on her cheeks and pink lipstick, and she holds a mirror on her hand and looks at her reflection.
