Illustration with a design for a half-mourning dress, part of the 48th issue of the "Journal des dames et des modes", published in Paris on September 20, 1913. The illustration features a woman wearing a cape with black and white stripes and purple ribbon borders over a white shirt with pleats on the neckline and cuffs, tucked into a narrow, black skirt, using a draped, purple fabric belt. She wears a black mourning hat with a large black feather, white gloves, a gray-and-purple bag, and black high heels.
