Illustration with a design for an evening coat made with embossed velvet and embroidered silk, part of the 61st issue of the "Journal des dames et des modes", published in Paris on February 1, 1914. The illustration features a woman wearing a large evening coat made with yellow and black embossed velvet featuring semi-abstract Tribal and animal patterns, with green silk borders embroidered with silver. The neck is decorated with gray fur and gray ruffles, revealing a long string of dark green beads tied around her neck. The skirt and train of her dress, made with a light pink fabric embroidered with silver, and matching light pink shoes with small, silver buckles, can be devised at the opening of the bottom of the coat. She wears her hair up, decorated with a jeweled headband made up of two strips of white pearls, held together above her forehead by a larger pearl from which two green scrolling feathers emerge. Her fingers are dressed with pink nail polish and with rings with green, pink and yellow stones, and her ears feature green earrings. Her face is heavily made up with blue and green eyeshadow, pink blush and red rouge on her lips.
