Fourth plate of album with 60 19th-century costume plates and 1 drawing of mostly women's historical costumes, featuring a variety of designs for traditional costumes from different parts of the world, as well as costumes for literary characters, such as Esmeralda. This plate, titled "Sorcière", contains a design for a sorceress costume made up of a figure-hugging, orange and purple vest with dark blue zig-zagging borders, with ruffled, black tulle and horizontal stripes of golden fabric on the bust, and transparent hanging sleeves decorated with tiny gold pompoms. The skirt is made up of light blue fabric, also with zig-zagging dark blue borders, decorated with tiny gold pompons, and with a striped fabric of orange, blue, green, and white colors with gray tassels scrolling around her hips. The skirt only covers her legs partially, and reveals blue mid-calf boots with pointed tips and tied with golden laces. She wears an elaborate headdress with green, orange and yellow details, gray fur and brown feathers, and a large, golden brooch. A large, beaded golden double-necklace with a large gold pendant hangs around her neck. Her hands are covered by dark-gray gloves, one of them decorated with a golden angle, the other holding a thin, long, cream-colored cane.
