36th plate of album with 60 19th-century costume plates and 1 drawing of mostly women's historical costumes, featuring a variety of designs for traditional costumes from different parts of the world, as well as costumes for literary characters, including Esmeralda. This plate consists of a woman wearing a costume for Tocrisse, made up of a dark green kaclet with yellow lapels and cuffs, and golden buttons, and a matching dark green, calf-length skirt with a yellow horizontal stripe on the border, and a red gilet with green stripes on the borders and small, golden buttons. From the neck and cuffs of the jacket emerge white ruffles. She wears a black hat with red borders, and with two small pale blue butterflies in the front, blue stockings, and black low heels with green and red bows.
