Ouvrage destiné aux fabricants et dessinateurs de soieries... et Papiers Peints..." This plate contains a textile design with vertical undulating branches with large stylized Indian flowers and leaves, and smaller, thinner branch offsets with small leaves and rosettes of different kinds, which fill the background of the design. The illustration was created after a 16th-century Indian textile, according to the inscription below the design. The design is executed with thin lines of black ink over thin, light brown paper.
