Page of book containing 185 leaves with a collection of lithographs, aquatints, engravings, and other media, with ornamental designs published by Fleury Chavant in Paris, part of the publication "Guide du Dessinateur de l'industrie: une macédoine de dessins variés , tels que fleurs, ornemens, etc. ... Ouvrage destiné aux fabricants et dessinateurs de soieries... et Papiers Peints..." This plate contains a large, arch-shaped frame outlined, with a thin, black line, with a semi-abstract tree with leaves containing pearl-shaped holes, and two semi-abstract, four-legged animals with long tails and feline faces. Around the frame are four designs for borders, two of them containing cornucopias with scrolling branches with flowers, flower buds and leaves, and two designs for borders made up of semi-abstract scrolling leaves, one also with stylized flowers. Under the large frame are three smaller frames: the first contains a rosette inside a roundel, flanked by six semi-abstract fleurs de lis, and filled with small teardrop motifs, the second made up of scrolling motifs, flanked above by a semi-abstract fleur de lis inside two semi-abstract profile grotesques, and the third made up of a roundel, flanked below by a fleur de lis, which interlaces around a scrolling frame.
