Ouvrage destiné aux fabricants et dessinateurs de soieries... et Papiers Peints..." This plate contains two rectangles with ornamental designs for patterns with interlacing strapwork. The first contains semi-abstract, S-curved leaves, and a grid made up of diagonal scalloping lines with interlacing strips running through them, on a ground executed with thin, vertical, black lines; the strapwork is decorated with small scrolling offsets. The second design contains semi-abstract exotic flowers and leaves, and diagonal scalloping lines with scrolling motifs, over a black ground.
