Ouvrage destiné aux fabricants et dessinateurs de soieries... et Papiers Peints..." This plate contains an ornamental frame, flanked above by a rosette holding a vase with large, ornate handles with stylized leaves, holding a rich bundle of roses, poppies, and leaves, and flanked below by another rosette, surrounded by scrolling leaves, surrounded by scrolling acanthus leaves, bundles of roses, poppies and leaves, and thin festoons with small flowers and leaves that hang from the different ornamental motifs, containing a rural landscape with a small house tall trees and a pasture. Above it is a design for a border with a thin, undulating branch with scrolling offsets with stylized flowers, flower buds and leaves, bordered above by a thinner stripe with alternating undulating motfis and strips of semi-abstract flowers, separated by thin stripes rendered with stipples. On the bottom of the sheet is another border with a garland of stylized exotic flowers, palmettes and small, oval-shaped fruits. The design is executed with black ink on thin, light brown paper.
