Not on view
In addition to looking at earlier masters of British caricature such as James Gillray and Thomas Rowlandson, Delacroix copied compositions by his contemporary George Cruikshank. This sheet brings together six vignettes based on Cruikshanks’s illustrations for at least four different pamphlets of political parody by William Hone published between 1819 and 1821.
