Shri Kenarnathji
Not on view
Shiva, Parvati and Ganesha sit on a tiger skin on a terrace before a lake. Below is Nandi, Shiva’s and Parvati’s vahana, here as a tiger rather than the lion usually associated with Parvati. The architecture seen in the background is Rajasthani in character, with the city and lakes of Udaipur being a likely source; similar architectural motifs pervade earlier Rajput painting.
