Six pages with a series of twelve cartouche designs by Agostino Mitelli. The first edition was published in Bologna before 1642, the year in which a set of copies was published in France. The plates then passed to Agostino Parisini and Giovanni Batista Negroponte, who published a second edition, likely still in the 1640s. Eventually, the plates ended up in the collection of Giovanni Giacomo de' Rossi in Rome before 1677.The title page to his third edition is also part of this album (see: 49.63.238).
