Ths sitter faces left and is shown half length in profile, bareheaded and wearing a Garter star. The image is shown within a printed frame topped with a crown. No artist or publisher is identified but the print may be based on a portrait of George IV engraved by Edward Scriven and published in 1825 by William Atkinson (see 17.3.756-1305). The features differ slightly, however, so the image may be intended to represent one of the Royal Dukes, the king's brothers.
