Elevation, Floorplan, Side View and Section of a Monumental Wall Cabinet

Jakob Anton Zoegger Austrian (?)

Not on view

This sheet contains the elevation, floorplan, a side view, and a section for a monumental wooden cabinet with double doors. The decoration of the piece is largely architectural, with the exception of two flower baskets that are placed within the broken pediments of the doors. The floorplan has been worked out in detail, with various colors indicating the distinct elements of the construction. The section on the right side of the drawing, executed in pen and ink only, gives further information on the interior construction of the piece. The monumental character of this piece suggests a prominent location, possibly within a religious building or palace.
