Bound in black boards with leather spine, sewn on 5 red parchment strips. The spine has gilt specks applied randomly; the author and title are printed on a paper label affixed to the spine. The front cover has an enlarged version of one of the ills. from the text along with the title and author. The front and back endpapers are marbled papers
