The artists responsible are listed at the front, but few of the illustrations are signed.The artists were all associated with the Liga de Escritores y Artistas Revolucionarios (LEAR). Attributions written by Jean Carlot in pencil appear beneath many, but not all, the illustrations (for the second grade book see 39.16.28).
