Queen Victoria, Prince Albert, and their Children

Published in a periodical, perhaps "The Graphic," this wood engraving derives from photographs of the royal family that John Jabez Edwin Mayall took at Osborne, Isle of Wight in 1860. The queen and her husband are shown in an interior surrounded by their nine children, the eldest of whom is Victoria, Princess Royal, the youngest Princess Beatrice.
