Raised Relief Fragment with a Male Figure Grasping an Object Decorated with Representations of Non-Egyptians
Two figures representing depictions of non-Egyptians are preserved from the base of the stand. At left, a non-Egyptian is identifiable by his full hairstyle, which is rounded at the front, back, and top. The figure has a long beard, arms crossed over the chest, and what seems to be a head ornament composed of two back-to-back ibex heads; above them is a post that supports a tray or shallow bowl. The male figure at left grasps the waist and touches the ibex head with his outstretched hands. At the right end of the relief is the upper part of a figure with bent arms bound behind his back, a pose used to indicate prisoners. Flat and rounded objects resting on his head also seem to support the tray above. The top of the object consists of a tray or shallow bowl with a narrow horizontal rim and curved underside; a rounded object sits on the top of its left side.
