Page of book containing 185 leaves with a collection of lithographs, aquatints, engravings, and other media, with ornamental designs published by Fleury Chavant in Paris, part of the publication "Guide du Dessinateur de l'industrie: une macédoine de dessins variés , tels que fleurs, ornemens, etc. ... Ouvrage destiné aux fabricants et dessinateurs de soieries... et Papiers Peints..." This page consists of four printed papers with abstract designs attached onto the sheet bound to the book. The first and third design are made up of vertical strokes, executed with shades of brown and white on the first case, and with green, brown, orange, and white on the other. The second design consists of a checked pattern made up of groups of ten thin, diagonal lines, separated by a thicker diagonal stripe, colored with red on one direction and with blue on the other, on a white ground.
