ポプリ容器
この容器が作られた当時、フランス宮廷直営のセーヴル窯は、ヨーロッパで最も権威ある磁器窯でした。蓋と肩の部分の複雑な透かし彫り、豊かな青緑色の地、細かい彩色や金鍍金による装飾など、造形や意匠に新たな趣向が凝らされています。この作品の最初の所有者は、フランス国王ルイ15 世の愛妾ポンパドゥール夫人でした。
