カブリ公爵ジャン=ポール・ド・クラピエールがグラッセの新宅のために注文し、パリで作られたこの部屋の羽目板は、純粋な新古典派様式を踏襲しています。当初は5組の両開きの扉と同数の鏡があり、彫刻と金箔が施さ れたオーク材の羽目板と光を反射する鏡が交互に配された、美しく調和のとれた内装でした。丸みを帯びた角は蝶結びのリボンから吊された楽器のトロフィーで飾られているほか、古典的な三脚式台座付き香炉のモチーフが扉上部のパネルに描かれています。金箔は磨かれて艶のある箇所と、光沢のない部分を混合し、特に精彩を与えています。
