青磁三龍文鉢

西洋では、青磁とは素地の上から緑色の釉薬をかけた器を指しますが、中国では国内用、輸出用を問わず一般的に製作された窯名で分類されます。この作品では、鉢いっぱいに描かれた生き生きとした龍の一頭が、尾を後ろ脚に掛けています。この図様は早くも紀元前2 世紀に浙江省に開かれた越州窯に特有のものでした。越州青磁は、8世紀から廃窯に至る11世紀まで広く取り引きされ、はるか西方のアフリカでも作品が発見されています。
