Stained Glass Dome

possibly 1902–32
On view at The Met Fifth Avenue in Gallery 951
Like the paintings and decorative arts displayed in the Robert Lehman Wing, the stained glass ceiling of this gallery was originally part of the Lehman family residence at 7 West 54th Street in New York City. Possibly designed by Tiffany Studios, the dome formed the skylight above their townhouse, built in 1899-1900.
