聖母戴冠と最後の審判の二連衝立

この二連衝立の彫刻では、キリスト教彫刻で頻繁に対で扱われる聖書の物語の場面が、見事な高浮彫りで表されています。あたかもミニチュアの舞台で小さな人物たちが自由に動き回り、芝居を繰り広げているような臨場感で描かれています。聖母マリアに冠が授けられている場面の下には、天使に導かれて天国への梯子を上る修道士と、その後に続く王と法皇が表されています。右のパネルでは、聖母マリアと洗礼者ヨハネが審判を下すキリストの前にひざまづいています。下には、天使がラッパを鳴らして死者を蘇らせる一方、悪魔が罪人を地獄の入り口へ降ろそうとしています。
