이 물주전자는 16세기 중기에 프랑스에서 만들어진 낮은 불에 구운 백색 도자기 중에서도 가장 크고 인상적인 예 가운데 하나입니다. 생포르셰르 도자기류로 알려진 이 정교하고 흔히 건축적인 조각의 그룹은 크림색 도기 밑바탕 내에 세공된 채색된 점토의 복잡하게 얽힌 디자인으로 구별됩니다. 프랑스 서부에 있는 생포르셰르 마을에서 만들어진 것으로 여겨졌으나 그 기술적 세련미와 야심찬 디자인은 페르시아에서 기원함을 나타낼 수 있습니다.
