런던의 버클리 광장에 위치해 있는 랜스다운 저택과 그 실내 장식은 로버트 애덤에 의해 디자인되었습니다. 거대한 식사실은 영국 건축가의 최절정 신고전주의 스타일을 보여줍니다. 세로 칸막이로 구분되어 있고 조각된 목공품을 나타내는 이 공간은 골동품 조각을 위한 아홉 개의 니치를 포함합니다. (이들은 이제 복사판을 포함합니다.) 이 공간의 최고 영광은 고전 장식의 풍부한 어휘를 포함한 주조 석고 장식입니다. 이 공간에 원래 있었던 것은 아니지만 토마스 치펜데일이 만든 팔걸이 없는 마호가니 의자들은 1769년에 저택 소유주에게 공급되었던 모델과 동일합니다.
