작센주의 선제후 크리스티안 2세의 검
복잡하게 조각되고 주조된 이 검의 금동자루는 드레스덴의 검 제작자 이스라엘 스쿠치가 제작한 작품 중 유일하게 기록된 것입니다. 반짝이는 에나멜 도료와 화려한 보석이 부착되어 있는 끈 모양의 손잡이 장식은 최고의 금세공자들의 작업에 필적할 만하고 당시 작센의 궁정에서 유행하던 양식입니다. 검의 자루는 톨레도의 날과 잘 맞았는데 톨레도는 검 날의 질이 좋기로 유명했던 도시로 유럽 전체로 수출하던 것입니다. 이 검의 날은 왕실의 검 제작자였던 후안 마르티네스가 제작하였습니다.
