이 은잔은 트라키아 장식기술의 좋은 예로, 현재 루마니아 또는 불가리아에 해당하는 지역에서 만든 것으로 추정합니다. 뛰어난 장식 기법으로 동물을 표현하고, 동물의 뿔 끝이 새의 머리로 변하는 형상은 기원전 천년 전 러시아 남부의 스텝지대로부터 유럽 전역에 퍼져 있던 유목민족 미술의 특징입니다. 동시대의 스키타이 및 이란 양식의 영향이 일부 눈에 띄기는 하지만, 이러한 장면은 트라키아의 도상이 확실하며필시 원주민의 신화 또는 전설을 표현합니다
