이 브로치는 300년대–400년대 다뉴브 강변을 따라 거주하던 동 게르만족 여성이 착용했던 고급 장신구입니다. 신분이 높은 여성을 매장할 때 의복에 부착했던 여러 가지 금 장신구(예, 팔찌, 반지, 펜던트가 달린 컬러 등)의 일부였을 것입니다.
