프랑크 왕국에서 제작된 대부분의 유리 용기는 단순한 형태와 최소한의 색채를 사용하며 일반적으로 장식도 유리 제작 시 적용한 홈에 불과합니다. 그런데 많은 혁신적인 디자인 중 돌출한 발톱 형상이 있는 잔이 가장 정교하였습니다. 현존하는 소수의 작품은 일반적으로 부장품이 많이 매장된 귀족의 묘에서 출토되었습니다.
