“등나무” 다이닝 룸
프랑스 아르 누보 시대 인테리어로서 미국 내 박물관에 전시된 작품 중 유일하게 완전한 이 다이닝룸은 엔지니어 오귀스트 라토의 파리 소재 아파트 실내를 재현하였습니다. 도예가에서 회화와 실내장식 분야로 전향한 레비 뒤르메르가 이 프로젝트를 감수하였습니다. 각 방은 통일된 테마를 따라 계획되었는데 이 다이닝룸은 환영의상징인 등나무가 테마입니다. 벽화에는 등나무가 가득한 풍경에 새들이 묘사되어 있고 벽면의 호두나무 장식판에는 자색 꽃이 상감되어 있습니다. 그 외 등나무 꽃이 호두나무 가구에 조각되어 있고 의자의 가죽에 각인되어 있습니다. 청동과 설화석으로 만든 램프는 등나무 줄기를 상기시키며 카펫에는 등나무 꽃을 수놓았습니다.
