배 모형
아메넴헤트 1세 통치 초기에 제작된 이 고대모형은 노를 들어올리고 강 하류로 흘러가고 있는 하천선을 표현합니다. 강한 북풍 아래서 강 상류로 이동할 때만 범주가 가능하였습니다. 하류로 내려갈 때는 돛대(여기는 없음)를 접어 백색 크로치에 수평으로 눕혀둡니다. 조타수는 기다란 단일 키를 조종하고, 뱃머리에 있는 선원은 시시각각으로 변하는 물골의 수심을 측정할 준비를 하고 있습니다. 아메넴헤트 통치 시 고위 관리였던 메케트레는 객실 앞에 앉아 장님 하프 연주가와 가수가 연주하는 음악을 듣고 있으며, 그 앞에는 선장이 서 있습니다.
