Cristofori Piano: “Lascia Ch'io Panga” by George Frideric Handel | Met Music

Anthony Roth Costanzo @anthonyrothcostanzo3042 (vocals) and Bryan Wagorn (piano) perform “Lascia Ch'io Panga” by George Frideric Handel (1685–1759) on the earliest known surviving piano, made by the instrument’s inventor, Bartolomeo Cristofori (1655–1731), in Florence in 1720.

This piano is on view in the Musical Instruments Galleries of The Metropolitan Museum of Art.
