Covered Sugar Bowl
The three face pattern of this footed vase was designed for George Duncan and Sons by John Miller of Pittsburg in 1873. The source for the pattern may have been a four-faced pattern produced by the Cristalleries de St. Louis in France before 1870. A large set of glassware in this pattern was produced. The wild-rose decoration around the bowl and cover is acid-etched. See also 1991.26.7–.14.
