这是现存最精致和最完整的法国游行盔甲之一。盔甲表面以浮雕细致表现出密集的植物涡卷纹,有古典人物和神兽居于其间,借鉴了意大利文艺复兴后期和风格主义的装饰手法。亨利二世钟爱的新月也被融入在装饰图案里。这套盔甲最初的二十件设计图至今尚存。其中之一出自老让·库桑之手,余下的是艾提安·德罗纳或者巴蒂斯特·佩勒林的作品,他们都是十六世纪中叶巴黎杰出的艺术家。
